Experienced Support Engineer
We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Support Engineer to work in our Fort Myers office. This role is perfect for a self-starter who excels at advanced troubleshooting, managing complex IT environments, and providing exceptional customer service to our business clients. You will be a key player in ensuring the stability and performance of our clients’ networks and systems. This is a full-time position with hourly pay and opportunities for occasional night or weekend work.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues (Tier 2/3).
- Manage and maintain client infrastructure, Proxmox virtualization, and advanced networking.
- Manage Windows server and Unix operating systems.
- Configure and maintain 3CX voice over IP phone systems.
- Implement and manage cloud services, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop preventative solutions.
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles.
- Mentor and guide junior support staff.
Qualifications:
- Resident of Lee County, Florida. This is a full-time position in our Fort Myers office.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or similar high-volume support role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Proven skills in managing and troubleshooting network devices (firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs).
- Experience with ticketing systems and RMM tools.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure/365 certifications) are highly desirable.
Junior Support Technician
Are you just starting your IT career and eager to learn? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Support Technician to be the first point of contact for our clients from our Fort Myers office. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a solid foundation in business IT support through direct mentorship and hands-on experience. This is a full-time position with hourly pay and opportunities for occasional night or weekend work.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming support calls and tickets, providing timely and professional technical assistance (Tier 1).
- Accurately document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common end-user issues, including desktop hardware, software, printing, and email connectivity.
- Perform user account management (adds, changes, and deletions) in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications:
- Resident of Lee County, Florida. This is a full-time position in our Fort Myers office.
- CompTIA A+ Certification minimum, CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+ preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the IT industry.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving history.
