The network hides in plain sight
Your network—switches, routers, cables, wireless access points—sits between everything else in your office. When it’s misconfigured or failing, the symptoms show up everywhere except the network itself. A computer takes forever to open files because a switch port negotiated at 100Mbps instead of 1Gbps. Phone calls drop because Quality of Service settings aren’t prioritizing voice traffic. Cloud applications time out because a router’s failing to handle the connection count.

What advanced diagnostics actually find
We run packet captures, check port statistics for errors and collisions, test actual throughput between devices, and verify VLAN configurations. We look at switch logs for hardware faults and measure latency and jitter on voice paths. Often we find broadcast storms from misconfigured devices, spanning tree loops that create intermittent outages, or failing network cards that corrupt every tenth packet.
One Fort Myers manufacturer thought they needed a new phone system. Their desk phones worked fine, but mobile apps kept dropping calls. The problem was a wireless access point broadcasting conflicting DHCP offers. Twenty minutes of diagnostics, one configuration change, problem solved.
Monitoring catches problems before you notice them
